ACT LOUISE Participates in Knowledge-Sharing Workshop in Rotterdam

On 9 June 2022, ACT LOUISE participated in an ACT knowledge-sharing workshop in Rotterdam. The workshop was part of a three-day CCUS conference, arranged by the Norwegian Embassy in The Hague, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands, CATO and ERA NET-ACT.

The day featured 25 presentations from all ACT projects, which covered a variety of topics from the development of new CO2 capture technologies to monitoring CO2 storage sites.

ACT LOUISE was represented by Project Administrator Jochen Ströhle, who gave a presentation on the project’s scope and objectives in the morning session “Capture, Storage and Use, ACT’s Cross Cutting (Highlight Projects)”.

According to Jochen, the workshop useful in providing both an overview of the other ACT projects and opportunities to network with similar projects, such as NEWEST-CCUS: another ACT project on CO2 capture from waste-to-energy.
